When we first started making the arrangements William worked with us. He was very helpful and polite.
However, when we returned to finish up the small details there was no one in the office. Finally, a man named Isaac came to help us. We approached him in English and he told us that no one there spoke English and he could not help us. He made no attempt to solve the language barrier. He was both rude and unprofessional. He had the audacity to question how we wanted our deceased dressed. In the future, we plan to return to Cabellero-Woodlawn- conveniently located down the street.
The arrangements did turn out how we requested, yet that experience was enough to take our business else where.Added March 19, 2017 by Natalie Bravo - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆
10 years too late but I owe them this review. First the man at the reception desk was rude and unaccommodating if not for that other mourners were there I would have resorted to physicality. The men's restroom sink was out of order making this a health issue. Losing a loved one is a trauma in and of itself to have such an unprofessional void of compassion staff with inadequate parking adds to the bereavement process. I would urge anyone not to patronize Bernardo Garcia unless you're a masochist.

Nice surroundings and professional staff with quality service at the funeral home. The assembly line graveside atmosphere at the cemetery was not appreciated. The family was ushered away so that the next funeral could begin. These should not be so closely scheduled. People should be allowed to grieve at the graveside. The elderly family members were left in the driveway because the limo was sent on to the next funeral - ridiculous and embarrassing . The Graceland cemetery itself is an embarrassment.
