  • Wonderful! I attended the free High Holy Days services that were offered through the Greater Miami Jewish Federation a few months ago. It was a very warm and welcoming environment. I was in that group of overflow guests that were seated in the chapel. The rabbi that conducted the service gave a lot of English translations, which made me feel very comfortable. One of the reasons I stopped going to synagogue as a teenager was that almost everything was in Hebrew, which made me uncomfortable because I couldn't understand anything. The prayer books did have English translations, but it's very hard to follow a service that's being conducted in Hebrew when you're reading English. So after many years of avoiding synagogue, I finally got up the nerve to try a Reform congregation, and I was very pleased with the experience. I really wish I could afford to become a member of this congregation, but $1400+ per year is just too expensive for only one person. But if I could afford it, I would definitely join. And I definitely recommend this synagogue to others.

  • This is a great school! Great Early Childhood Program, they have bilingual classes, specially good for Latin families that have recently moved to the area, the teachers and staff are very caring and really look after the children. For K to 8th grade they have ESOL program (English for Speakers of Other Languages) that is great for newly arrived foreign families.
